No matter how cute they are most of us would rather not have a cat using our garden for a litter box. I generally don't mind a cat or two around but at one time a neighbor of ours had eight cats, all of whom liked to use our flower bed for a litter box. So as you can imagine things got pretty smelly for a while until we discovered what would repel them. Just like people every cat is different so you might have to try a few different things before you find the right one.
